Team Time is every Thursday at Gandy! During Team Time, students gather with the members of their house in their grade to engage in a variety of different enrichment opportunities. This innovative initiative, created by the Gandy resource team, is a setting for our students to strengthen relationships, develop our Tiger values, and practice soft skills. Our resource teachers collaborate to plan and teach these weekly lessons.
Several projects our students have completed during Team Time have gained local news coverage because of their positive impact on the community: notes to Fox Elementary School in 2022 and encouraging words written on Wawa coffee sleeves in 2023. Nurturing relationships between our students that overflows into our community is at the heart of Team Time.
